The Collector

The world is full of magic. Some we know about, most we don’t. Sometimes, in exceptional circumstances, an ordinary object becomes imbued with magic, giving it strange powers and turning it into a Curio. You are a Collector of Curios. Why? Well, everyone has their reasons...

The Collector is a solo storytelling game/guided creative exercise, inspired by Warehouse 13, The Librarians and Artefact.

In this game you will take on the role of a Collector of magical items. You will draw cards and look up the corresponding prompts in the tables provided, then let your imagination run wild! You can write and/or draw the magical item you are searching for, as well as the adventures you have as you attempt to obtain it.

This is a game in the loosest sense of the word, a more accurate description might be a guided creative exercise. But either way, it is entirely an excuse to live out your fantasies of being a Warehouse Agent or a Librarian!

What you need to play:
· The Collector (PDF or printed copy)
· A deck of standard playing cards, jokers included
· Something to write/draw on and with
· Lots of imagination!
